FAQ

Module

Step 1 - Login to your Joomla Administrator Panel and go to following location :
Joomla Admin Panel -> Extensions -> Module Manager
Step 2 - Search for : AdiInviter.
Step 3 - Select module with the name AdiInviter and click on Edit button.
Step 4 - Enter Title : Find/Invite Friends.
Step 5 - Click on Position option and choose Position-7.
Step 6 - Change status to : Published.
Step 7 - Click on Save button.
Step 8 - Now go to Menu Assignment tab and set Module Assignment : On all pages.
Step 9 - Click on Save & Close button.

Plugin

Step 1 - Go to following location under your Joomla Administrator Panel :
Joomla Admin Panel -> Extensions -> Plug-in Manager
Step 2 - Search for : adiinviter.
Step 3 - You will see following 3 plugins in your search results :
AdiInviter - Content
AdiInviter - System
AdiInviter - User
Step 4 - Select all 3 plugins and click on Enable button.

Menu

Step 1 - Go to following location under your Joomla Administrator Panel :
Joomla Admin Panel -> Menus -> Main Menu -> Add New Menu Item
Step 2 - Click on Select button next to Menu Item Type and choose :
System Links -> External URL
Step 3 - If you have activated Search Engine Friendly URLs option in your Joomla site, then enter following URL under Link option :
http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php/component/adiinviter/

If you have not activated Search Engine Friendly URLs option in your Joomla site, then enter following URL under Link option :

http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_adiinviter

Note - Replace www.yourdomain.com with the URL to your Joomla website root URL.

You can check whether you have activated Search Engine Friendly URLs option or not by going to following location in your Joomla Admin Panel :

Joomla Admin Panel -> System -> Global Configuration -> Search Engine Friendly URLs
Step 4 - Set Status : Unpublished.
Step 5 - Click on Save button.
Step 6 - Now go to Module Assignment for this Menu Item tab.
Step 7 - Check/Select the option : Hide Unassigned Modules.
Step 8 - Now in the same tab for every module whose position is : Position-7, perform the following steps :

Note - For example, you will see a module with position-7 : Login Form (Public in position-7)

1. Click on the module name. You will see a popup there.
2. Go to Menu Assignment tab.
3. Disable the module for the Menu Item : AdiInviter Pro. See below for the explanation.
4. Click on Save & Close button

Explanation - How to disable module for the Menu Item AdiInviter Pro?

If your Module Assignment is set to : On all pages, then change it to : Only on the pages selected. After that, unselect/uncheck the menu item AdiInviter Pro from the list and click on Save & Close button.

If your Module Assignment is set to : On all pages except those selected, then select/check/tick the menu item AdiInviter Pro from the list and click on Save & Close button.
